Bush Shirt + Heritage Silk/Cotton Blend

$155.00

The Form is a classic Bush Shirt with two breast pockets featuring hand-carved coconut buttons.

The Fiber is Heritage Silk/Cotton Blend. Like all of our Heritage Fabrics, the cloth used to make this garment is made entirely by hand. This luxurious blend of raw silk and cotton is patiently and meditatively woven together, thread by thread, on a wooden loom in Nepal.

Raw silk is as rare as it is beautiful. It’s wonderfully soft, thermally adaptive and resistant to essentially all pests. Weaving it together with cotton produces a fabric that is amazing light and airy yet strong and easy to clean.

The end result is stitched together by artisan tailors employed by an ethically run, small family business in the Kathmandu Valley with whom we have been working for years.

The Bush Shirt is also available in our Heritage Linen and our Heritage Silk.

Handmade in Nepal.
